Joel 2:9-11

⁹They storm the city;
they run on the wall;
they climb into the houses;^(A)
they enter through the windows like thieves.^(B)

¹⁰The earth quakes before them;^(C)
the sky shakes.
The sun and moon grow dark,^(D)
and the stars cease their shining.^(E)
¹¹The Lord raises His voice^(F)
in the presence of His army.^(G)
His camp is very large;
Those who carry out His command are powerful.^(H)
Indeed, the Day of the Lord is terrible and dreadful^(I)—
who can endure it?^(J)
